CareMed Nurses are experienced in various aspects of nursing, including case management, patient education, hospital nursing, intensive care, IV therapy, physician office nursing and industrial nursing. Strict confidentiality applies in all settings. All services are provided through individualized care plans and under physician direction as appropriate. The result is better use of resources, faster recovery and greater peace of mind for patient, physicians and families. Upon referral by the physician, insurance company or upon direct contact by patient, nurses can provide an initial assessment and develop a plan to help make sure the health care system works for the patient and all those involved in the team. All nursing services are provided under the physician's orders. CareMed’s services include:

• IV therapy
• Dressing changes
• Blood draws
• Patient teaching
• Medications organization and administration
• Wound care

CareMed believes that patient needs are best met through careful and thorough assessment, individualized care plans, patient-centered service delivery, outcomes measurement and continuous quality improvement. In addition to nursing services, CareMed provides supportive services such as assistance with personal care, light housekeeping and medication reminders.

Nursing services may be covered by patient’s insurance, and assistance will be provided to determine if coverage is available from the insurance plan. Any and all out of pocket expenses will be discussed prior to initiation of services.

In all cases, CareMed nurses act as care coordinators, bridging the gaps between the doctor's office, the hospital and other providers to help ensure a coordinated approach.
