The reality of the current healthcare environment is that many patients who need healthcare products are uninsured, underinsured or simply lack the financial means to pay for them. CareMed’s comprehensive reimbursement support system assists patients with patient assistance programs (PAP) that can provide these vital medical products at a reduced cost – or even for free if qualified. The Reimbursement Specialists support system is designed to simplify the insurance and reimbursement processes. It provides the following services:

Coverage and reimbursement information—to help patients confirm coverage and provide information about reimbursement from private and public insurers, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Appeals assistance—including Medicare and Medicaid appeals assistance to the appeals committee when claims or coverage are denied.
